Sometimes we bought a remote control from the market, but the time we reach home and use it for our device ,we realize that the remote is not working.
In order to prevent all these calamities, I am going to show you how to test the remote before you bring it home.

After you have purchased the remote, insert a battery into it and then switch the camera of your mobile phone.

Face the bulb or the eye of the remote to the sensor of your phone's camera and press any key on the remote.
By looking at the screen of your mobile phone, you will see that the bulb of the remote will light up when pressing the remote keys.

If the bulb lights up, it means that the remote is working if it didn't, it means the remote is not working and this will help you not to purchase a damaged remote.

Make sure you do it in a little dark place, this will help you to see the light from the remote control properly.
This practice works with any camera phone.
