Because of this, there are lots of fake strong lnb lookalike in the market. Since the fake and the genuine ones looksalike, I'm going to show you only one feature that you can use to differentiate between them.
The type of strong technology lnb I'm going to talk about is the one with flat bottom which comes with red, white and blue labeled box as shown in the image below.
You can see from the image above that the only difference is the surface or eye of both lnbs. The one on the left side has a pointed surface and the one on the right has a hollow surface. So in this case the genuine one is the one on the right which has a hollow surface whilst the fake has pointed surface.
Both fake and the genuine lnb works but the difference is, there are some satellites which the fake one can not track or pick the signal because of its low signal strength so when ever you are buying strong lnb try to check this feature on them.
