How To Connect More Sattelite Dish Or Signals To One Receiver (Decoder).

STEVOMULTISERVICE

With the help of a satellite device called "Diseqc"(Digital Satellite Equipment Control), you can connect about 16 satellite dishes or signals to one receiver.

There are two types of Diseqc settings in every  receiver :
1 Diseqc 1.0
2 Diseqc 1.1.
Also there are two types of Diseqcs. There is one which has only three or four lnb input connections on it. You will use Diseqc 1.0 settings in your receiver for this type of Diseqc.

There is also another one that has more than four lnb input  connections. This type of Diseqc also uses the settings of Diseqc 1.1 in the receiver.

I'm going to show you how to use the Diseqc 1.0.

The cable at the middle of the three connectors on the Diseqc image above goes into the receiver whilst the rest is from the dishes.
So to do your settings, press menu on your remote control >installation >enter password (0000)>antenna or dish settings >Diseqc mode >Diseqc 1.0>select "A" or "1".
Look down your screen if the scan label is blue, press the blue key on your remote and change scan mode or type to blind and scan or search .

Repeat this for all the process. Make sure you select different satellite and different Diseqc label for the next process.

NOTE: Use Cband satellite name on your receiver for Cband satellite you have installed, the same applies to Kuband.
