Due to shut down on MEDIA7 at 26°E, some of the channels that went off there have begun transmission on Astra 2F at 28.2°E, Multitv position.

HOW TO SOLVE BOOTING PROBLEM ON SRT 4950H AND SRT 4950E DECODERS.

In this article, I'm going to show you how to solve the booting problem in "SRT 5950 H" and "SRT 4950 E". Sometimes you will see "boot" displayed in the screen of these two decoders that it will remain like that without booting as shown in the image above.
This normally happens when the software on the decoder had expired outdated.

To solve this problem, you will first download the latest software for the type of your decoder from the website of strong technology. If you can't access the internet with your computer, you can download the software with your mobile phone and transfer the file into your PC.

If your decoder is SRT 4950H download 4950H software, the same applies to 4950E.
Having done with your download, get a clean quality flash drive (pen drive).
Rename or change the name of the downloaded file to rom from your PC and send it into flash drive. Take the drive from the PC and insert it into the drive slot of your decoder.

Power on the decoder and press the power button in front of the decoder at the same time and your upgrade will start immediately. After the upgrade your decoder will boot successful and you are all set!

NOTE: Do not put the file into a folder in your pen drive but put it into the root direct. If you put the file into a folder, the decoder will not be able to read it.

If this process did not solve the booting problem of your decoder then your drive has a problem that you need to change it.
