1) Reducing the voltage; It will be better to adjust the voltage of your generator to be reduced to a maximum of 200 volts. The more you higher the voltage the more the fuel will be consumed.
2) Putting off some of your appliances; Using too much loads for generator consumes fuel alot. So, switch off some of devices that are not in need to be used at that moment.
3) Sloping the generator; This helps to save money because, if the generator stands at a leveld surface and the level of the fuel in the generator runs down, the generator will stop because the remaining fuel in the tank can not flow into the engine for it to work.
And if you are sloping the generator, make sure you slope to where the carburetor is or where the fuel passes into the engine.
This procedure will help to drive every little fuel in the tank for the engine to work.
